At the edge of the village of Samedan is a versatile practice area for families and ski schools. Thanks to the easy yet varied slopes, the Samedan ski area is ideal for children and beginners. A practice lift and a magic carpet transport skiers and snowboarders on the sunny piste.

The Engadin village of Samedan lies at 1700 m and is as lively as it is picturesque. The typical Engadin houses and two museums ensure that Engadin culture remains a living part of the present. In addition, from here you can quickly reach all corners of the Engadin and the local mountain Muottas Muragl, with its impressive views. The restaurant in the Samedan ski area offers regional specialities: from cheese sandwiches to traditional Graubünden barley soup. The playground provides plenty of fun for the little ones. For tobogganing enthusiasts, a toboggan run is prepared parallel to the lift.
Ski/Snowboard
Due to its flat and wide slopes, the Samedan ski area is ideal for children and novice skiers. A T-bar lift takes skiers up to around 1910 m. Then you can choose between two different slopes. Those who are on skis for the first time will be delighted with the magic carpet, which opens up a particularly flat slope. As part of a ski course, young and old try their first turns on the slopes in Samedan.Nordic/Winter hiking
