Piancavallo Ski Area

Modern ski lifts, including the Tremol chairlift, which is also open in summer, serve 17 km of skiable areas for alpine skiing and snowboarding.

In winter, the resort offers some special facilities such as the Nevelandia playground for children's fun, the Snowboard Funk Park for freestyle enthusiasts, and an illuminated ring for night cross-country skiing.

Sports in all senses and in all seasons: climbing walls, trekking, mountain biking and wellness trails to discover, as well as an ice stadium, bobsleigh on rails and a sports hall with 4 playing areas, as well as regulation football pitches, tennis courts, bowling greens and miniature golf.

From the peaks of Piancavallo you can admire the entire plain of Friuli Venezia Giulia, all the way down to the Marano lagoon and the blue Adriatic Sea, and from the 1091 metres of Mount Castaldia you can experience the thrill of hang-gliding among the clouds.
