Enjoy the fresh mountain air on a speedy downhill ski run - children can have a great time in Oeschiland and learn their first steps on the boards - or unwind with winter hiking & ice walking. While ice fishing, you can also enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains of the Blüemlisalp group.
Public transport
Arrival at Kandersteg train stationSouthof the Lötschberg, north of the Kander Valley. For this point between Brig (38 min.)and Bern (61 min.), an hourly train service is in operation but thanks to its station buffet, this is an ideal meeting point for many tours.
From the railway station to the valley station of the Oeschinen cable car, a scenic walk leads through the village and past the Reformed and Catholic churches.
