Ski/Snowboard

The Diavolezza/Lagalb ski area attracts alpine skiers and snowboarders with predominantly intermediate ski slopes, difficult off-piste runs and the unique scenery of the Diavolezza. In addition, alpine winter sports enthusiasts enjoy above-average sunshine while skiing and snowboarding at the Diavolezza/Lagalb. Skiers and snowboarders who are technically confident and in good shape can expect a 45-minute fitness test on the 10 km long glacier descent from the Morteratsch glacier. The descent is marked but not groomed. Diavolezza is also the starting point for numerous ski tours in the Bernina massif. The on-site ski school offers individual and group lessons in skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing as well as in off-piste skiing. The children's ski school pays special attention to the needs of the little ones and teaches skiing in a playful way. A variety of gastronomic offers round off the winter sports day. At full moon, the Diavolezza mountain restaurant offers a summit dinner with first-class regional and international specialities followed by a moonlight descent down empty slopes.

Nordic/Winter hiking

The region at the foot of the Diavolezza/Lagalb ski area is considered the cross-country skiing stronghold of the Swiss Alps. Unforgettable nature and landscape experiences await Nordic winter sports guests on the cross-country and skating trails from Maloja to Zernez. Ambitious cross-country skiers can compete against each other at the Engadine Ski Marathon between Maloja and S-chanf. In the Engadin & St. Moritz destination there are a total of 240 kilometres of groomed trails for fans of Nordic skiing. Those who prefer to walk can explore the mountain world on 250 km of groomed trails.
