    Als Ergänzung: der Normalweg im Winter dürfte heute derzeit wohl der Weg über die NW-Flanke Richtung Angelusscharte sein. Bei der guten Schneelage im Frühjahr 2024 war die nordseitige Gletscherabfahrt möglich, durch den Gletscherrückgang wohl nur noch in schneereichen Jahren. Laut Hüttenwirt war in den zwei schneeärmeren Wintern davor auch die NW-Flanke nicht sinnvoll möglich (recht felsig). Evtl. hat die Südrinne am regelmäßigsten ausreichend Schnee?! Also am besten wirklich beim Hüttenwirt nach den Verhältnissen erkundigen. Meine aktuelle Bedingung vom Frühjahr 2024: https://www.alpenvereinaktiv.com/s/3vtsoV

    Wunderschöne Skitour am Ortler mit Aussicht auf alle bekannten Gipfel am Ortler. Ich war am 29. April 2023 da, und ein lokaler Bergführer hat mich durch beeindruckende Gletscherspalten hochgebracht und durch abseits gelegene, unberührte Tiefschneefelder wieder runter. Die Tour ist viel begangen und die allgemeine Route ist deutlich gespurt.

    Wenn der Ausgangspunkt auch mit der Seilbahn erreicht wird, handelt es sich hier um eine fordernde Tour. Die angegebene Höhenleistung von 1.158 Hm ist leider falsch, weil sie die Gegenanstiege nicht berücksichtigt. Im Gesamten müssen bei der beschriebenen Tour ca. 1350 Hm veranschlagt werden. Auch der hinterlegte Track stimmt mit der Beschreibung leider nicht überein. Der Track führt über den Eisseepass, während die Beschreibung von "..Schrägfahrt zur Casatihütte über die Ostflanke der Suldenspitze.." spricht. Diese Schrägfahrt ergibt sich nur, wenn man wie beschrieben unterhalb der Nordflanke der Suldenspitze zu einer Scharte quert und hier abfährt. Der GPS -Track über den Eisseepass befindet sich weiter nördlich im Kamm.
