This day tour goes to Woffleben along the Karst hiking trail and then crosses northwards to Appenrode. At the town's exit on the road to Ilfeld, our path leads down the crest into the quaint Steinmühlental valley. Passing by the pastures of a cattle farm, gradually ascending in the romantically beautiful valley until shortly before the B4, then continuing along the ridge until reaching the main road in Rothesütte. There are two dining options here. The return goes along the border path to the Zorgerkreuzung. Now just three kilometers through the forest back to the starting point. We treat ourselves to a final beer at the Italian restaurant.
