Routes in Jamlitz

The route with regional train connection partly leads on well-known paths from Cottbus station to Beeskow comfortably via the new Heideradweg to the largest desert in Germany.

The versatile circular route runs along the Spree past lakes and moors through the protected wilderness area, following the tracks of the Spreewald railway across the Lieberoser Heide via the new heath cycle path to the largest desert in Germany. 

On this route with many viewpoints, you can observe the slow change of nature from barren desert landscape, through blooming heathlands to dense, wild forests.

An extensive circular route along the Spree and past lakes and moors through the protected wilderness area of Lieberoser Heide with an option via Schwielochsee.
