A varied hike starting in Neckargmünd, through the Schwalbennest Nature Reserve, over the Lammerskopf, through Schönau, and over the Greiner Eck to Hirschhorn. We’ll be walking mainly on forest trails and sometimes on narrow paths, which can be quite overgrown at times.

The Nibelungensteig is a certified long-distance hiking trail that stretches approximately 130 km through the Odenwald—from Zwingenberg on the Bergstraße in the west to Freudenberg am Main in the east. With a total elevation gain of about 4,000 meters, the trail deliberately winds through the hills and valleys of the Odenwald.
