Schellerhau Botanical Garden

Visitors can experience the magic of flowers, especially in May/June, when the alpine flora blooms with various species of gentian, alpine roses and mountain anemones. In July, the giant bellflowers and telekia in the Caucasus region and the white germer in the local mountain pine region are a delight. From mid-August until October, the blossoms of the swallow-wort and Chinese autumn gentian fascinate in combination with the intense foliage color of various shrubs.

The Nature & Music sound experience trail is very popular in the truest sense of the word. Playing eight natural sound instruments creates surprising moments in the garden landscape.

• We offer garden, sound and herb tours on request. The 'Green Classroom' is also available for family celebrations and events by prior arrangement.
