Simple Catholic parish church with beautiful surroundings in Rodalben.

The parish church of St. Josef is the largest of the churches in Rodalben and is located relatively centrally in the town, close to the hospital. Next to it, in a pretty old building, is the parish office of Maria Königin. The church also has a beautiful park that is open to the public. In addition to various monuments and sculptures, the park also features the small Maria-Trost chapel, which is open during the day.

Die Pfarrkirche St. Josef selbst verfügt über einen barrierefreien Seiteneingang mit einer Rampe, die von Gehbehinderten und Rollstuhlfahrern genutzt werden kann. Ein Parkplatz für Schwerbehinderte ist in unmittelbarer Nähe der Kirche vorhanden. Bei der Maria-Trost-Kapelle im Kirchenpark befindet sich direkt am Eingang eine Stufe, die überwunden werden muss. Im Park selbst gibt es ebenfalls Stufen, da dieser in hängigem Gelände angelegt ist. Aus vorgenannten Gründen ist eine Begleitperson zu empfehlen.

Die Kirche und die Kapelle sind sehr schön. In der Kirche ist regelmäßig Gottesdienst. In der Kapelle kann man in Ruhe beten. Sie ist an Weihnachten schön geschmückt mit einer Weihnachtskrippe. Im Park gibt es Denkmäler und Skulpturen zu sehen. Passen Sie auf wegen der Stufen, die es überall gibt. Verletzen Sie sich nicht. Nehmen Sie gerne eine Begleitperson mit. Diese passt dann auf Sie auf und kann so manches erklären.
