The PR1 LNH – Dinosaur Route begins at Parque da Cegonha, heading towards the Lourinhã Museum and then to the Church of St.ª Maria do Castelo, where you can climb the cross for a panoramic view.
Next, continue towards Labrusque, turning right after crossing the stream, following the asphalt road for 500m, and then taking the agricultural paths up to the locality, identifiable by its mill. Leave the asphalt and head to the coast via a trail through cultivated fields and dunes. At Praia do Areal, head north towards Praia da Areia Branca. Continue up to the Youth Hostel, following the asphalt road north, with the sea on the left. After 2 km, take a small path that descends to Praia do Caniçal. Here, take the road leading to Forte de Paimogo, returning the same way. Along the route, there are several geosites identified by the Oeste Geopark.
