The Kallioniemi lean-to is located on the eastern shore of Lake Lentua, on a rocky peninsula. It can serve as a base for paddlers and, in winter, for off-track skiers.

The Kallioniemi lean-to and fireplace offer a great view of the southern open body of lake Lentua. Pukkisaari island is the closest in the foreground.

There is a dry toilet and a wooden shed at the Kallioniemi lean-to. Camping is allowed, but good tent sites are scarce.
