The eastern branch of the Kainuun Tervareiti (Kainuun Tar Route) runs from Lake Iivantiirajärvi to Lake Juttuanjärvi. At the northern end of Juttua, the beautiful Island Ukonsaari offers a good resting place.

Island Ukonsaari lean-to at the northern end of Lake Juttuanjärvi is available all year round. It is located on the southern shore of the island.

The lean-to has a firewood shelter and a dry toilet.

The rest area is maintained by the City of Kuhmo.
