Must-See in Sibenik: declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 - An architectural masterpiece made of limestone, which is abundant in the Dalmatian region.
In 1431 the construction of the cathedral began and lasted until 1536. Within the construction were involved various architects and builders, including Francesco di Giacomo, Nikola Firentinac and Juraj Dalmatinac. The cathedral is known for its unusual construction. It was built entirely of limestone, without the use of wood or metal in the structure. The facade is decorated with ornate details, including intricate sculptures and carvings created by Master Radovan and his team. These ornate elements tell biblical stories. The interior is just as impressive as the facade: walls with Gothic decorations and murals depicting religious scenes. The main dome has an impressive reticulated vault, giving the interior a majestic atmosphere. The combination of late Gothic elements with Renaissance influences is a unique architectural masterpiece.

ja, das ist möglich. Wir waren auch im Civitas Sacra und haben uns ein Kombiticket gekauft, welches auch für die Kathedrale gültig war.
