Forte Interrotto Asiago

Forte utilizzato durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale ed edificato a metà dell'800 a difesa del confine italiano.

Pensato al momento della sua costruzione come caserma, Forte Interrotto divenne durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale un edificio di sbarramento volto a fermare l'avanzata austriaca sull'Altopiano di Asiago. Allo scoppio del primo conflitto mondiale, questa struttura (edificata principalmente in pietra) era già considerata datata e non adatta a sopportare eventuali colpi di artiglieria; anche quando passo in mano austro-ungarica dopo la Strafexpedition del 1916, venne riadattato, dotato di due potenti fari e utilizzato come punto di osservazione.
