Skiathos Trail 14 - Forest and Sea
This route takes hikers on a tour of the northwestern beaches of Skiathos through pine forests, schrublands and coastlines.
This is an easy route, without great altitude variations, moving mainly through landscapes of natural beauty, such as Mandraki, Elia and Agkistro beaches, the Aesthetic Forest of Mandraki and the ridge of Trachalomandra with a view of Koukounaries and the Strofylia wetland. It combines paths, mild traffic dirt roads and walking along the coastline. The land cover comprises mainly of agricultural land, extensive areas of natural vegetation and coniferous and broadleaf forests. This route crosses part of the Aesthetic Forest of Skiathos.
