Mount Roen is one of the favorite destinations for hikers who are on holiday in Val di Non and near Lake Caldaro.

To reach the top of Monte Roen you start directly from Passo Mendola to stop after about 50 minutes at the first refuge, the Mezzavia Refuge. From here you have to proceed for another 2 hours before reaching Monte Roen. The chairlift allows you to get directly to the Mezzavia Refuge and save the precious energy needed to reach Malga di Romeno and the panoramic top of Monte Roen!

Directions

The chairlift can be reached from the Mendola Pass, following the signs for Monte Roen from the Pass. After about 3 km you will reach the car park in the "Campi Golf" area, right at the base of the chairlift.
