In der heutigen Kreissparkasse war vom Ende des 19. Jahrhundert bis in die 1960er Jahre ein Wirtshaus, die „Schlossschenke“

Dies war im Besitz der damaligen Casinogesellschaft und wurde vor allem von der obersten Gesellschaftsschicht besucht.
