After passing through the Wimbach Gorge, the path leads with a pleasant incline mostly on the right side of the valley to Wimbach Castle.

Roadbook
We start at the Wimbach Bridge and head south to walk along the Wimbach, first across meadows, then through light forest. Afterwards, you reach the spectacular Wimbach Gorge, whose first footbridge was built by Ramsau woodworkers for the timber rafting to the saltworks. On the route, we can always follow the signposted path towards the Wimbachgries Hut. After reaching the debris flow of the Wimbachgries, you now walk gently uphill to the managed Wimbach Castle.
