The Women's Academy Munich conducts research on women and gender issues.

The Women's Academy is easily found at Baaderstraße 3, in Munich, a few minutes from the Isartor.

The association was founded in 1984.

Since 1996, the FAM has received funding for art, research and science from the Bavarian State Ministry. Furthermore, they are supported by other projects from the European Union, by federal ministries and by the City of Munich.

In addition, professional counseling and mentoring for women as well as events for all genders are offered.

It is possible to become a member of the association as a private person, as well as to make donations.
