Family Friendly Bike Ride From Immenstadt to Oytal Along The Iller

Beginning in Immenstadt this scenic bike ride largely avoids roads and takes you instead along the Iller radweg. There are several places to stop and grab a drink or a bite to eat along the way as well as getting your feet wet in the Iller or Oybach. Oberstdorf of course has numerous shops and restaurants as well. Once you reach Oytal you have a panoramic view of Oberstdorf and the valley, but keep going! The further back in Oytal you go, the view only gets better and better. Numerous waterfalls and pine smells greet you along the shaded radweg and you will finally reach the Oytalhaus restaurant. The restaurant also has a playground and plenty of bike parking making it an ideal place to relax after a lengthy ride. The way back to Immenstadt is mostly downhill as well for a leisurely return trip.
