Park-like recreational facility on the main road at the eastern exit of Merzalben with a bus stop.

The recreational facility of Merzalben resembles a well-maintained park. It is spacious and invites visitors to rest, linger, and pause with its peaceful benches. There is also a table tennis table and a Kneipp facility, which is set to be put back into operation soon.

Additionally, there is a bus stop at the recreational facility, served by lines 248 and 256 (schedules available on the websites of VRN and Suedwestpfalz-Nahverkehr). During times without bus connections, a call-sharing taxi can be ordered to the stop by calling 0621 - 1077077 (at least 60 minutes in advance). Right next to the bus stop, there is also a public drinking fountain which can be used free of charge.
