A Nossa Senhora da Boa Estrela é um monumento impressionante de sete metros de altura esculpido na rocha granítica conhecida como Covão do Boi, situado acima dos 1.850 metros de altitude.

O Monumento foi inaugurado em 1946 e partiu da ideia do Pároco local que desejava prestar homenagem à Santa protectora dos Pastores que enfrentam há séculos as intempéries da agreste região.
