Sotkamo Marina is located on the Lake Pirttijärvi. Waterways to the west take you through the Tenetti stream and lake Nuasjärvi all the way to the city center of Kajaani. To the east you can go by water to the borders of the municipality of Kuhmo. The waters of the lakes Sapsojärvi and Kiantajärvi lakes can be boated to the south.
There are moorings for guests and seasonal places to rent. The guest places are intended for short-term landing. The harbor has a freshwater tap station and a refueling facility at a nearby gas station.
The mariana offers a boat slip.
The "Satama Cafe" is open during the summer.
