Parco Fluviale della Sarca
The Cavedine area is also known as "Val del Vent" due to the constant breeze coming from Lake Garda, which is felt especially near Lake Cavedine. The lake is located between the towns of Dro and Pietramurata, at the northern end of the large landslide of the Marocche and likely was part of the original post-glacial lake basin that also included Lake Toblino and S. Massenza.
The route is easy. Along the way, besides observing the lake from different perspectives, you cross dry environments, woods, and agricultural areas.
By connecting the path, the cycle-pedestrian bridge, and the paved road running along the east side of the basin, it is possible to complete the full loop of Lake Cavedine.
