The Elbe Sandstone Mountains miniature landscape is a replica of the most famous rock and landscape formations made of original Elbe sandstone and is unique in Europe.
The self-propelled historical means of transport (land, water and air vehicles) complete the landscape with replicas of original locations. The models of sights from the early days of tourism in Saxon Switzerland are contemporary witnesses to the development of tourism and point out excursion destinations in the landscape. The 1st German miniature mountain railroad runs on a 900 m long track from the entrance area to a viewing platform 10 m higher up. The locomotive is a replica of the Saxon IV K on a scale of 1:4, gauge 7 ¼ inches.
