After a short road section, you ascend 940m through a beautiful forest, past abandoned places up to 1500m. From here, it goes with beautiful views along the slope about 2km to the Chapel Sant‘Anna (fountain). Here you can take a nice rest.
Afterwards, you must decide to descend on a proper path (read the route description!) or follow the original path, which the wilderness is slowly reclaiming.
In the valley, the path continues shaded through forest to Noasca. In Noasca, do not miss climbing from the church to the clearly visible waterfall in the evening (possibly in the evening sun) or the next morning, cross behind the waterfall, and then descend back to the starting point.

From San Lorenzo, descend on the valley road to Rocci (940m). Caution, in 2019 red arrows were placed on the river bridge halfway that point to a new path. This is not the GTA and leads to a new via ferrata, but goes no further.
Behind Rocci, the GTA leaves the road to the right (signpost). You cross the pressure pipe of the Rosone hydroelectric power plant and then climb the slope. You pass through the ruined village Bertodasco and finally reach the houses of Perebella. At the village entrance stands a dry wooden fountain. At the first house, a signpost points the way up, which climbs the slope in the opposite direction. Shortly after the village, there is water at a spring.
At 1500m you reach a natural road, which you follow upstream (left). At a fork, stay on the upper track and come to an area of boulders, which is easy to pass. The road ends before the rock blocks. A good path continues to the pilgrimage chapel Sant’Anna (fountain), where you can take a nice rest.
From Sant’Anna, follow the path further along the slope. After about 150m, a path branches off to the left leading down to the valley. This path is maintained because the pilgrimage to the chapel goes up here yearly. On the newest Fraternali map, this path is marked as GTA/VA. In the valley, a path is shown on the left side of the river (bridge a little downstream below Fej), so you no longer have to take the valley road as described in our Bätzing. Unfortunately, we did not take this path, so we cannot confirm the map details.
The (old?) GTA continues further on the slope. At a junction, it descends slightly. The path is already quite overgrown here. You cross three stream beds. After leaving the third stream bed, the path turns left and leads into a landslide about 10m long. You have to snake through the bushes on the left side here. Then the path, also slowly overgrowing here, leads downward until you reach a clearing with ruined buildings and fallen trees. Those wearing shorts should switch to long pants here at the latest.
The path now leads left through ruins. You have to avoid trees repeatedly. Overall, the path is hard to find.
Only after a large house, which you pass on its eastern side, does the path improve and goes uphill again towards Fé. You walk through the first houses and descend to the valley road, which you follow 100m upstream. Here you cross the bridge to the other side of the valley to Prà.
Behind the bridge, turn immediately right and follow the driveway. Behind a chapel, caution is advised as the path now separates on the left side from the driveway and runs along the slope between two natural stone walls. Soon it turns left at a meadow and then again higher up to the right to the village of Canti. You cross the river over a bridge, follow the small road briefly and turn right again at a signpost. The path now follows the valley to Noasca, which is clearly recognizable by its waterfall.
