It consists of 4 buildings grouped on the south side of the small lake Lille Lungegårdsvannet in the city center of Bergen. KODE 1 presents fine craftsmanship and design, while KODE 2 offers space for temporary exhibitions.
KODE 3 houses the Rasmus Meyers Collection and a large collection of Edvard Munch's work, including many of his major works. Highlights of the collection include paintings from the Golden Age of Norwegian art and historical paintings from the Bergen area, as well as works by Norwegian artists J.C.
