In the footsteps of Zwickau's industrial culture
You start in the heart of Zwickau's old town, at the Priesterhäuser. These are verifiably the oldest preserved residential house ensemble in Germany. On your way to the Paradise Bridge, you cross the main market with its impressive buildings from 900 years of city history. Further along the Mulde Paradise, downstream, you pass the remains of the old city wall and enjoy the delightful view of Osterstein Castle. Right on the Mulde riverbank, you reach the Johannisbad. From here, you stroll along the picturesque section of the Mulden-Damm bike and hiking path to the concert and ballroom house "Neue Welt." Passing the former production sites of Horch, Audi, and Trabant, you arrive at the August Horch Museum. On your way back from the North Suburb to the old town, you find enclosed ensembles of Gründerzeit and Art Nouveau houses, beautifully and precisely reconstructed. Our walk ends at Villa Wolf.
