Kampermauer from Puglalm via Rumplmayrsteig

The sunny-side Rumplmayrsteig presents itself with a wealth of flowers and species in spring and summer. First, you ascend over the alpine meadow to the edge of the forest at Kampermauer. Then the path leads steeper through the forest and over grassy slopes into the rock terrain covered with mountain pines. The last part of the section runs along a cable protection to a rock ledge (1220 m), which offers space for a cross and an airy bench. From here you have a wonderful view westwards to the Totes Gebirge and southeast to the Haller Mauern, as well as down to the Puglalm. From here, sure-footed hikers can still climb to the summit of Kampermauer (1,394 m).
