Roadbook
The tour begins along the B87 towards Kreuzberg/Weissensee. About 200m after the town sign, turn right onto the "Alte Kreuzbergstraße" (Old Kreuzberg Road). You now follow the cart or gravel road uphill through the forest, reach a clearing which you pass by the "Mossmüller". At the following intersection, turn left. The route continues through the forest and at 1,074m altitude you reach the Kreuzberg mountain pass. From here, you ride for a few minutes along the B87 towards Kreuzberg again before turning right just before the Franz-Josefs-Height. After descending several hairpin bends, you reach the south side of the Weissensee and continue along the flat side road towards the bridge from here.
Return/Descent:
Takes place along the same route as the ascent. The indicated time includes the time required for the ascent, but not for the return/descent.
