We start again from the parking garage “Schöner Graben” and hike for 200 meters through the castle suburb. Soon we reach the nature reserve “castle ponds”. Passing the ponds covered with water lilies, we turn left and climb up to the castle. Then continue down a lime tree avenue and again steeply up the Stations of the Cross to Schönenberg. We descend in a left curve, meet Schönenbergstraße, which takes us back to the historic old town.
