The trail is groomed for classic and skating styles and offers very beautiful viewpoints of Lake Tegernsee and the surrounding area.
The starting point of the Gasslerrunde is in Ostin. 9.7 km of groomed trails run through hilly terrain over Niemandsbichl to Sternecker, past the Gasse hiking parking lot, and in a large loop north back to the starting point. Depending on snow conditions, the trail connects to the “Ödbergrunde”.
