We first hike a short stretch along the little-trafficked road towards Kreuzberg, then enter the forest. The orientation is easy, and the incline is mostly moderate. For the return route, we chose the little-used path via Loibl, which leads into the Payerbachgraben. Here, the marking and trail sometimes really need to be searched for.
For the further return, it is recommended to follow the yellow marking in the Payerbachgraben from house Kreuzberg No. 9, ascending again to the Gloggnitz Circular Hiking Trail. The blue-marked path to Payerbach follows the less trafficked road (about 2.5 km).
