Old town center of Rodalben around the Marienkirche with historical buildings such as the old town hall, the former Graefensteiner Oberforstamt and Amtshaus as well as the birthplace of the most famous son of the city, Dr. Johann Peter Frank (born March 19, 1745 in Rodalben; died April 24, 1821 in Vienna). He was a German doctor and is considered the founder of public hygiene and a health service based on social medicine. The adjacent square, also named after him, with a fountain and several sandstone and metal sculptures was designed by the local artist Stephan Müller. His studio is at Pfarrstrasse 20. Nearby, in Schulstraße, there are two more historical buildings, the House of Culture and the old school building. Different guided tours are offered in Rodalben on certain dates.

Die Altstadt von Rodalben ist schön. Es gibt eine tolle Kirche, die man besuchen kann. Hier ist manchmal Gottesdienst oder ein Konzert. Zudem gibt es ein paar Brunnen und einen schönen Platz mit Skulpturen. Es gibt auch Gästeführungen, da wird einem alles Wichtige erklärt. In vielen Geschäften kann man schöne Sachen kaufen. Wenn man Hunger und Durst hat, kann man in Gasthäusern oder Cafés einkehren. Passen Sie auf beim Überqueren der Straßen und wegen der Stufen, die es teilweise gibt. Verletzen Sie sich nicht. Nehmen Sie gerne eine Begleitperson mit. Diese passt dann auf Sie auf und kann so manches erklären.
