Katholische St. Laurentius Kirche, Brücken
The 40 coloured glass windows in blue, green, yellow and red tones with figurative and motivic depictions are also of particular artistic quality. Five bells with a total weight of around 4.5 tonnes hang in the 29-metre-high bell tower.
The Catholic parish church of St Laurentius in Brücken is so skilfully integrated into the townscape that a variety of interesting visual relationships have been created. References to the local diamond industry can be seen in the colourful church windows; the lighting in the interior is directed towards the monumental Christ the King altar mosaic.
