The Kirschbaumbrunnen (cherry tree fountain) is somewhat hidden next to the wayside. From the Neidenfels train station, follow the trail markings of the Pfälzer Hüttensteig (black and white hut on metal sign) for a short distance in the direction of Staatstraße -Vordertalstraße - Dorfstraße - Schloßbergweg - Hintertalstraße - past the Lichtensteinhütte. The fountain is located on the right side of the forest path.
The Kirschbaumbrunnen (cherry tree fountain) belongs to the Neidenfels district and is located near the "Lichtensteinhütte" of the Pfälzerwaldverein Neidenfels. The cherry tree fountain can be easily combined with a visit to the Neidenfels castle ruins and the Lichtenstein castle ruins. At the weekend, it is worth stopping off at the Lichtensteinhütte. Please note the opening hours: Wednesday 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
