Für den Sentiero degli Scaloni sind Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit erforderlich. Streng genommen ist es aber nicht unbedingt ein Klettersteig, sondern eher ein Bergwanderweg mit gesicherten Stellen. Anfänger und Kinder können hier wunderbar üben und sollten auch gesichert werden, die meisten (erfahrenen) Wanderer gehen den Weg jedoch ohne Sicherung.
Über einen Felsaufschwung, Leitern, Laufstege, Holztreppen und in den Fels gehauene Passagen wandert man auf dem Sentiero degli Scaloni durch die Steilwände der Coste d'Anglone. Der leichte, abenteuerliche Klettersteig ist durchgehend gut mit Drahtseilen gesichert. Der Weg ist mit der Nummer 428 gekennzeichnet.
