The Froda waterfall (Froda means waterfall in Ticino dialect) is a waterfall about 100 metres high in Sonogno, the last village in the Verzasca Valley. It can be reached on foot from the village and when the sun shines, a beautifully coloured rainbow forms over the pool below.
