Savica Waterfall, which is the source of the Sava Bohinjka River, is one of the most recognizable waterfalls in Slovenia.
The Savica waterfall rises from a pronounced break in the face of Mt. Komarča and makes the Sava Bohinjka source. During the normal water level, the prominent A-shaped waterfall comes to daylight at an altitude of 836 metres and is 78 metres high. Photos: (1) Mitja Sodja, Turizem Bohinj: (2) Laszlo Szelenczey
