Einzige Wasserfälle im Vogtland

An der Grenze zwischen Hammerbrücke und Grünbach befindet sich ein altes technisches Denkmal: der „Obere Floßgraben“, auch „Riß“ genannt. Ursprünglich wurde dieses Grabenstück von Menschenhand in Form einer Rampe in den Fels gehauen, um das Holz problemlos diesen Höhenunterschied passieren zu lassen. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte hat sich das Wasser immer tiefer in den felsigen Boden des Göltzschtals eingearbeitet. Dieser letzte Abschnitte, die Rißfälle; fügen sich reizvoll in die umgebene Waldlandschaft des Flüsschens weiße Göltzsch ein. Die Rißfälle führen heute das Jahr über nicht mehr so viel Wasser. Nach starken Regenfällen jedoch kann man sie bei einer Wanderung von Grünbach aus über die Druckersmühle hin nach Hammerbrücke und weiter nach Muldenberg bewundern.
