The Marmore waterfalls are among the highest in the whole Europe capable of making the atmosphere of the place unique and beautiful.
Created by the ancient romans, the Marmore falls are a a beautiful viewpoint from which is worth following interesting canoeing routs along the Nera river.
Originally the today's waterfalls were a very high cliff that was converted into waterfall place to solve problems regarding wetlands' deseases that were spreading in the area. The course of the river Velino was deviated in the direction of the natural cliffs making it today a wonderful and stunning place.
