From the high plateau of Engstligenalp, the waters cascade 600 m (1968 ft) into the valley below. This second highest waterfall anywhere in Switzerland is a natural spectacle in a class of its own and has been subject to a cantonal protection order since 1948. Whether on a circular trail, mountain tour or climbing route, from a bus or cable car cabin, this majestic natural wonder is waiting to be discovered.
