Beusnița waterfalls

The succession of waterfalls of the river Bei (the largest of which is over 5 m high), upstream from Meerauge (Ochiul Beiului) are called the Beușnitei waterfalls.

The waterfalls are located in the Cheile Nerei-Beușnița National Park. It extends over an area of 36,758 hectares and consists of a karst landscape of limestone over a length of 22 kilometres along the Nera valey with a height between 200 and 1116 metres at the highest peak, the Leordis.
