Der Wendelstein ist der bayerische Paradeberg und bietet ein atemberaubendes 360°-Panorama von der Zugspitze über Großvenediger und Großglockner bis hinunter zum Chiemsee. Bequem geht es sowohl mit der Seilbahn von Osterhofen bei Bayrischzell als auch mit der Zahnradbahn von Brannenburg aus nach oben. Außerdem führen fünf Themenwanderwege von allen angrenzenden Gemeinden hinauf zum Gipfel, wo das Wendelsteinhaus zur Einkehr und Deutschlands höchstgelegene Kirche, das Wendelsteinkircherl, zur Andacht einladen. Die Wendelsteinhöhle lockt in das Innere des Massivs.
Mit der Gästekarte Schliersee, Fischbachau und Bayrischzell erhalten Sie Ermäßigung auf Berg- und Talfahrt Seilbahn sowie Zahnradbahn.
