Einzigartige Aussucht auf den Tagebau Inden

Am östlichen Rand des Tagbaus Inden gelegen, nahe des Örtchens Schophoven, verbindet der Aussichtspunkt Schophoven interessante Informationen in Form von Infotafeln mit Aufenthaltsqualität durch diverse Sitz- und Rastmöglichkeiten auf dem Gelände. Von dem ca. 30m über dem Tagebau gelegenen Aussichtspunkt, lässt sich der Fortschritt des Abbaus im Baggerloch gen Süden gut beobachten. Direkt auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Aussichtspunktes lässt sich bei gutem Wetter der Indemann auf der Goldkuppe erkennen.
