In summer, the breathtaking view of the Schwyz valley basin from the Fallenfluh Chänzeli makes hearts beat faster.

The Fallenfluh Chänzeli is located in a wildlife rest zone, which may not be used for recreational activities during certain times of the year, or only to a limited extent. There are legally binding and recommended wildlife rest zones. Legally binding wildlife rest zones are designated by the legislative process (e.g. cantonal hunting law, communal zoning) and violations in these areas are punishable by law.

Public transport

Accessible by train and bus

From Schwyz railway station, take bus line 501 to the Ried (Muotathal) stop, Illgau cable car. Then take the Illgau-Ried cable car to the village of Illgau.

Directions

By car on the A4 to the Schwyz exit, then in the direction of Muotathal to the valley station of the Ried-Illgau cable car or by car in the direction of Muotathal until after the valley station of the funicular, follow the signs to Illgau.

Parking

Bei der Talstation der Luftseilbahn Ried-Illgau sind Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden.

Bei der Kirche in Illgau sind ebenfalls Parkplätze vorhanden.
