From this point in the vineyard Kastanienbusch, there is a beautiful panoramic view of the Rhine valley over Birkweiler. A picnic table under the trees invites you to take a little break.
Picnic in Nature
Whether on a hike or a bike tour: a picnic in the open air is a special experience – especially with regional specialties from the Palatinate! To keep nature as unspoiled as possible, please use only designated rest areas. In forests and vineyards, there are often no trash bins to avoid attracting wildlife and to keep the landscape clean.
Therefore, the rule is: everything you bring, you should also take back. Food scraps and packaging can be dangerous for animals and often take decades to decompose. Dispose of your waste responsibly and protect the unique nature of the Palatinate!
