Get creative and find your way to a stunning waterfall viewpoint
Videfossen is a beautiful two-stage waterfall with a modern, secure viewing platform that brings you close to the action. The falls are spectacularly located at the base of the Videdalen Valley along the Gamle Strynefjellsvegen scenic route.
Access to the waterfall is directly next to Hotel Videseter which owns the parking lot and currently restricts parking to guests of the hotel. Cyclists need not worry, but if you’re driving you may have to view the falls from below along the road or do your best to park safely elsewhere.

Videfossen is next to Hotel Videseter along Norwegian Scenic Route Gamle Strynefjellsvegen. The hotel is 1.5 kilometers from where the scenic route meets the new road (Road 15), up Hjelledalen Valley. The hotel operates the parking lot and unfortunately it is currently only open to guests.Coordinates
