At the turnoff to Leirvassbu in the Sognefjellet mountains, you will find the Vegaskjelet viewpoint. The unique viewpoint juts out from the road and rises above the trees and the undergrowth to give you a nice view of multiple 2,000-meter peaks, like Skarsnebb and Steinetind.
